Former STRATOVARIUS Bassist Records New Music With Reactivated MESS

Former STRATOVARIUS bassist Jari Kainulainen has joined forces with drummer Atte Sarkima (AJATTARA, VERENPISARA),vocalist Tommi "Tuple" Salmela (TAROT, CARDIANT) and guitarist Elias Viljainen (E.VIL) in a new Finnish heavy metal band called MESS. The group, whose musical style is being described as "BLACK SABBATH meets PANTERA," was originally formed in 2001 but went on hiatus the following year after Jari and Atte were unable to find the right singer for the project.
